Awesome Audi Performance ECU remapping
So we started the year with a new website with a few car and van blogs. But work has got in the way of creating more content. So decided I will do a blog at least once a month on a few of the cars/vans and trucks I have done in the previous month. So we are kicking of with April a little variety. With my favourite being the DAF XF being able to haul 100ton, the trailer in the picture weighs more then 25 ton
So we have done a few Audi S5 (awesome cars) this month inc tuning and inlet cleaning. We use the amazing TerraClean inlet cleaner, using compressed ait and specially designed cleaner. We insert the jet in to the inlet after the Mass Air Flow meter (to make sure we don’t damage the component) and run it at a fast idle for about 30mins.
With results being instantly noticed sharper throttle, smoother idle, and less emissions when in for its MOT afterwards. This Audi had regained its performance and sharpness
We also had the great honour of tuning this stunning example as well, these can be tuned all down the OBD Port, taking a Virtual Read of the SIMOS 8 ECU.
Using that as the base to create the modified file, then writing takes about 20 minutes. Using battery support to keep the battery maintained while writing as the fans come on full. It could cause issues if it went flat during the writing process. We can take the BHP from 333 to 400 BHP and take the torque from 440nm to 520nm.
Its not only cars but trucks we get asked to tune. Having be developing of this side of the tuning business see’s it grow from strength to strength, in terms of reliability and performance. So we went to tune this stunning DAF XF106, this is something we love tuning and working on trucks.
Seeing the huge changes in the performance and reaction from the drivers on the first road test. Each one react differently but the over all consensus is the drivers all love the increase in torque, meaning they aren’t changing gear as much, keeping in a higher gear. The power band is so much more usable. T
his is reflected in the increase in MPG and making the truck be even more fuel efficient and return even better profits. The power increase on this 100 ton pulling juggernaut from 510bhp to 575bhp and torque from 2500nm to 2730nm.

We are also on Facebook, check out our page here
Another little we love tuning are these vans the Volkswagen Caddy. We see them in lot guises. Most of the time we see them in light blue, having been in their previous life owned by British Gas.
They usually have a speed limiter on them we can get rid of that. They are also tuned down from factory having come out the factory with either 75bh or 104bhp being mechanically the same we can safely take these to 144bhp and torque from 250nm to 320nm.
All done down the OBD Port. We can also carry out the failed EA198 emissions recall that VAG have been carrying with out the authorisation of the owners, a bit naughty really as it is optional.
So that is the blog over for this month. 3 of my favourite vehicles that I have tuned.
The next blog will be be about the tunable BMW Turbo petrol engines, featuring a Mini, 220i, and an M5.
