Been a busy month tuning a lot of trucks this month.
First was a 2009 Scania R620 in for tuning ready for export, so removing the Adblue/ SCR system and EGR system. All this done via the OBD Port. So we applied our Stage 1 tune which gives it an extra 100bhp and 450nm of torque.
Next up as a 2016 Mercedes Benz Atego. In for a simple Stage 1 ready to head to the Marbella with a couple cars for their client. So they wanted to see if our claims of a fuel saving where true. And they were seeing a great increase in MPG, Power and quicker delivery times. This requires the ECU to be removed and tuned on the bench with a specific Mercedes Benz cable, no problems as we continuously invest in tools and accessories to make sure you get safe and reliable tuning.
The Stage 1 tune we applied on this was taking from 239bhp to 275bhp and a super smooth 120nm of torque, taking the stock 810nm to a respectable 925nm. Making this truck pull harder, smoother and be more fuel efficient on the hills.
Another Mercedes Benz truck in for tuning. This times is the Atego’s bigger brother the Actros. Using the same method, cable and tuning tool to read these. ECU was simple to remove and powered up on the bench. With an already impressive 480bhp and 2300nm of torque in standard form we were able to increase this to a stunning 550bhp and 2640nm of fault free, reliable tuning.
